RV Vlogging vs RV Blogging: Behind The Scenes of my RV Life & Content Creation
Join me as I discuss the differences between RV vlogging vs RV Blogging, sharing my personal journey as an RV Entrepreneur, Digital Nomad, and Behind The Scenes of my RV Life. Plus, how my content creation focus has shifted over time from RV Vlogs vs RV Blogs. Even my Story as a Nomadic Entrepreneur has changed. Some people call me an RV Blogger, others RV Vlogger and some an RV Influencer. Either way, I’ve spent a considerable amount of time updating my RV Blog over at RVersity (my RV University) shifting focus away from my RV YouTube Channel and RV Vlog! RV blogging and vlogging.
RV Vlogging versus RV blogging.
In my life, of course, I want people to know that I want you to read my blogs and I want you to watch my videos and subscribe to my YouTube channel and like these videos and all the fun stuff that I’ve told you to do.
Let’s not forget that I also have social media and I have Instagram and Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn and Pinterest. = Hint, hint. You can follow me @RVersity on pretty much every social media platform.
Now, one thing I’ll mention that comes to mind over this period of time that I’ve been RVing is I’ve been more focused on posting YouTube videos, kind of like this one, versus blogging on my website.
And so, that has changed over time and I’ve put a lot more time into My blogs and my website, especially since the beginning of this year in the last several months.
My Story has changed over time…
Plus, if you haven’t seen my story “why I decided to get into RVing” I did mention that in a prior video or post, but that story has even changed over time.
WATCH: Why I decided to live full time in an RV (my story)…
And so I made a second version of that, but I didn’t post it on here. I kind of posted it on my Blogging Brandi content.
And so that’s why I say some of my stuff just feels so wishy washy because if I’m not in my RV, I just feel I shouldn’t be posting on YouTube. Maybe that’s weird. Let me know in the comments below.
Creating A BLOG vs VLOG
One thing though is that RV blogging versus RV vlogging, I’d like to add that it takes a significant amount of time to create a video, to capture the content, to record it, to make a video out of it and edit it and make it all cute and put little captions in it versus putting a blog out there. Not that my blogs don’t take a good amount of time too.
Also creating a video once it’s out there, I can’t go back and edit it, but a blog, I can put it out there. And then if somebody says something or if I think about something, I can kind of change it. But with a video, I can’t do that. It’s out there for the world to see and I can’t go back and change it and I can’t be like, oops, I forgot this thing. It’s just done!
