Reading & Responding To Your Comments
I tried to make updates, put this on my computer, and wanted to make this as formal as I could, because I do read your comments. People made some comments recently that almost made me push pause on putting out my content, because it made me just feel like my content is so out of line.
And so I do read your comments on my content. Some of them are beautiful and nice, and then some of them are not so nice. I do want to hear your comments. Please, make sure as you’re watching this video to drop them below. Let me know what questions you have. And also, if you like this video and this behind-the-scenes of my RV life, be sure to hit the like button below, subscribe to my channel, and tap that little bell icon so you’re notified every time I publish a new video.
I was reading through my comments and it did make me kind of pause and think okay, how am I portraying myself in my RV life? There’s just so much that you just don’t know!
Some of the comments like on the pros and cons of my stationary RV living.
Positive Comments and Encouragement
Comment: “This video is so helpful. I’m moving soon and I’m considering an RV park. By the way, your smile at xyz seconds is so sweet. You look so pretty. It’s a nice photo.” ~ Those are really beautiful comments. I love to hear things like that. Thank you!
Comment: I’m selling my house next month, and I’m definitely getting an RV now., I really appreciate your video and your ideas. Thank you.” ~ You’re welcome!
Comment: “Pretty much described exactly what I was thinking it will be like so now it’s almost made me even more sure”
Comment: “The takeaway I got from all this was buying used is better than buying new because all the kinks will be worked out in a used one.”
Comment: “Love Petunia.” We love her too. You’ll have to meet her soon.
Comment: “Thank you. I’m 95% sure. This is what I’ll want to be doing. RVing isn’t just for meth heads anymore. With this economy as a single person, this is all I can afford.” — And that’s not necessarily true, but it’s kind of funny reading some of these comments. I’m not gonna lie.
Comment: “I’m having an issue about wanting to get a travel trailer for stationary. Weighed the pros and cons, apartment living versus travel trailer, but I’m in Henry County and work in Atlanta. Atlanta’s RV parks look sketch.” ~ I went through this same process! And so again, why I want to share my RV life with you is because I know that other people are trying to learn from this.
Negative Comments and Criticism
Comment: “Thanks Karen for the information.” ~ That’s very nice.
Comment: “Why are your eyes so close together?” ~ I’m not sure why God made me that way.
Comment: “First of all, BS on the fact that you quit to live in an RV. Second of all BS because calling your RV van life is a joke. It’s homeless.” ~ Thank you. You’re welcome.
FYI I’m Not A Video Editor Just Sharing My RV Life With You!
This comment kind of something that really made me hit pause and I was thinking, “okay, well, how should I be editing my videos? And then also it makes me think like, how are you editing your videos? And do you even make videos?”
Comment: “That was just on repeat of the same images and videos of the same thing weird.”
It makes me think that people forget that. I’m just a human being just like you and I’m just sharing my RV life and things that happen behind the scenes! I’m not a video editor.
And, I don’t want to say I don’t make money off some of the YouTube videos that I make and put it out there but I am going to say that I don’t get paid necessarily by you watching a video. It’s not like a dollar for dollar exchange. I just make the content and if YouTube puts ads on it and I make a little bit of money off of it, great.
I don’t sit here and make videos all day thinking, “oh this one’s going to make me a lot of money.” This is not. how I operate. I have a business and blogs and more than just my RV life out there, which I’ll get to in just a second.
Some of the other comments that people put out there…
Comment: “So trying to like this video endured her poor me whining about her own bad financial choices and she pulls out a Joyce Meyers mug. I’m done.”
I kind of thought what was funny was this person that commented.
- One, I always say it’s no face no namers that comment on my content and say really ugly things.
- But, also they commented about a part in this video where I said something about: “how we’ve changed out from the motorhome to the trailer and the van. And, it was a $200,000 RV exchange for much less.” So, the travel trailer was $30,000-$40,000 and the RV van was under $100,000.
Plus, the van is a 2012 or 2013 and the travel trailer is a used 2021. Both RVs were purchased used. Even, the motorhome we had was bought used.
We just did an exchange to better fit our lifestyle. Not because we’re poor or because we couldn’t afford it, But, yes the motorhome was getting expensive to just sit there in the trailer park and never go anywhere. So we traded it out for the trailer and the RV van.
I do read your comments.
That’s what I want you to know is I do read your comments. Some of them make me smile and laugh and then some of them make me honestly kind of want to cry or roll my eyes or just think wow. That was extremely nice. I can’t help the way that God made me. I’m just trying to share things with you so hopefully you can learn and not make the same mistakes or maybe have a laugh at some of the things that I’ve made.
And also, I always think if I died tomorrow and no one ever got to see these videos that I’ve never shared with you or pictures that I’ve never shared with you or these updates, it would really break my heart.
I feel like I was born to blog and born to vlog and share things with you. By me not putting some of this content out, it’s been delayed and Kind of what I wanted to share with you!
Final Thoughts and Call to Action
Back to reading your comments. I do read your comments. And why I want you to tell me your feelings about this video and the things that I’m talking about. And even if you comment along throughout this video, rewind this video, replay this video, and re watch it, and comment along to the things that I’m telling you.
Because I always think it’s strange when people leave comments saying “she” and “her” but they don’t talk to “ME” I’m always thinking you do know it’s my video that you’re commenting on, but you’re talking to everyone else out there? ~ I think it’s kind of funny.
And I just wanted to remind you that I do read all of your comments. I may not always respond to them. Sometimes I just am not in a place to respond to them and saying I’m going to respond to it later. Or it might be 3am or 5am when I’m reading something. And so, I Don’t always respond to stuff especially if I’m on the go.
Responding To Your Comments
However, I’m trying to get better about responding to your comments. I’m, sorry if I haven’t responded, but I do love reading your comments, which is why I say please please please comment below this video and let me know your thoughts on these videos and this content and to make sure that you’re checking the description below this video so that you’re not missing out on the things that I’m saying and a lot of this is on RVersity.com.
