Plus, you won’t end up with issues in your plans either. Most RV Parks will ask if you have any dogs, or they might request you stay in a certain area of the RV Park (keep in mind there are still a lot of animal haters out there)!

If your pets aren’t used to RV travel, introduce them gradually to the vehicle to help them acclimate. Our cat and dogs love to travel, especially in the RV van! Plus van life for them is like a huge moving cage, but the coolest one ever! And every time they stop it’s a new place to explore! They get to try new foods, find random things to chew and do! But every dog had their first moments of what is this thing? and why is it moving?

The cat is an inside cat so he never gets to go outside except in his case. As far as the travel trailer at the RV park we keep stationary they have a fenced-in yard we put up so we can contain all of the pups! Once we had 5 dogs and one cat so it’s been a wild ride to get them used to the RV.

This also goes for your pets too! They need grooming, monthly nail trims, baths, hair cuts, teeth brushing, etc… And annual check-ups! With 5 fur babies running around it has been hard to keep them all together to get their annual exams and shots at the same time, but we have to take time to make sure they stay healthy and papered too!

If we know we are going to be traveling on a trip we will get all the dogs groomed and cut the cat’s nails before heading out in the RV!
