Here is the transcript from the video:

Let’s hop in the shower. Are you ready? okay… I’m Bloggin Brandi, And this is RVersity a university for RVers. Why do I look like I’m half naked right now? Well because I am. So I’m gonna. Show you a little video today. You know? Not that kind of video, but.. Ugg I think I have ants all in my RV for some reason. I’m going to show you how to take a shower in my rv because you asked me these questions. So this is my winnebago era or the actually a 2018 170M. I have a full bathroom which you don’t normally have in a class B rv. They normally have these like wet baths where the shower and the toilet and everything’s combined. Let me show you my shower. this is just my bath area Really. This is my toilet and have like a drawer here that you can go in and then I have stuff here. There’s My toothbrush. Me!  I have a sink And soap stuff like that. I keep my cooler other stuff down here. Then this is my actual shower. Keep a little caddy, but This thing falls off a lot. Then I have my shower and if I want to hang clothes I can actually hang clothes but, I’m actually going to move these out of the way so I can take a shower. and then I also have these shelves. not a huge bathroom, but it gets the job done. I’m going to show you what all I have to do to take shower. I get questions about like how’s it different than your house? Well, it’s not really that different than your house. But it kind of is. So one thing is that normally I would turn on my hot water first, but it’s kind of warm here so I don’t really want to turn on my hot water, but I will show you real quick. It’s kind of loud after dark, so let me see.  If I wanted to turn on my hot water, I can do that over here. so I can turn this on or off and use gas or electricity. If I want to turn off the hot water. But I’ll keep this off. that is how I can turn on my hot water. If I turned on my hot water, I’d probably have to wait about 20 to 30 minutes for it to heat up. Whether you’re boon-docking or hooking up, you have to have water. So if I’m boon docking I’ve kind of gone over this before If you haven’t seen those videos, link in the description below. If I’m boondocking it means I’m not hooked up to water, so I have to have water with me in the Rv. in order to get the water to come out of these pipes, It has to have some type of pressure. Right? To get pressure. I turned on this water pump right here. Okay. But since I’m hooked up at the RV Park, I don’t need the water pump. The pressure from outside is actually great enough that’s coming through the line to pump the water into my shower. That gives me the pressure that I need. The first thing that I normally do is brush my teeth. I have this electric toothbrush here that I like to use. It’s by  oral B and I just feel like it’s a little bit cleaner to have then a normal toothbrush, so that’s just my thing. But I always brushed my teeth outside of the shower because your rv shower hot water doesn’t always last that long. But, I brush my teeth outside of the shower first in my sink. So I’m going to brush my teeth first and then I’ll show you like my shower routine and what I have to do to actually take a shower. And for those of you that don’t know, I’m a little weird. So I actually use baking soda to brush my teeth. So it’s kind of like all natural in Rv. Just baking soda and my electric toothbrush. [Music] I just brushed my teeth now I’m going to get in the shower. There are a few little differences with the RV Shower as in like your hot water may not last that long depending on how big your rv is and, or really how big your hot water tank is. The big the RV, the bigger the hot water tank. What I have to do is the turn on my water. And let me show you this. Normally I’ll turn on my water to like hot. if I’m going to use hot water, but I told you I’m not using hot water right now and then I have my shower head, so when you want to use the shower, you can leave it one like this, or Turn it off while you’re taking your shower. Why do I want to explain this? Well, part of that is if you’re boondocking, you’re going to consider how much water you’re using, so it’s going to show you a few things that I do a little different. If boon-docking or actually just period in my RV shower. I have two different kinds of razors that I might use. if I’m boon docking or if I just want to shave, A lot of times I’ll use this electric razor because I can use it wet or dry when I’m shaving. If I want to shave and take a shower and have just this regular razor, you have to use water with it, so what I’ll do is I’ll just put some water in this cup. and then I’ll just like rinse this off. Instead of using the shower the whole time. A lot of times they call these navy showers. I’m just gonna tell you like taking a shower in the rv isn’t always like as glamorous. A lot of people will even take showers at the Rv Park or a gym or somewhere else. For me, I paid for an Rv so I’m going to take a shower in my rv even if it’s not as amazing as like the house and you just don’t leave the water running the whole time. You can leave the water running. It may stay hot the whole time. I don’t know, but I have ran out of hot water before in another rv and so I just really don’t chance it. I will just turn the water off. Shave like leg. That’s Kinda like my method. to do my under arms I always shave with this rechargeable because I shaved one time without the water using the regular razor (it got really bad). Usually I’ll just shave kind of like that in the shower.  But just to give you a heads up, that’s kind of how the RV shower works and that’s how the razors work. Other than that, you can take a full shower, but you may run out of hot water. and we’re plugged up to water but the other thing is you might fill up your water holding tanks. I showed you all of that about filling up your tank and whatnot. So that’s another thing you want to check your tanks levels before to make sure that your holding tanks are not full. And then I’ve shown you kind of like how to empty those in another video. You can check the description below this one to find that link. Let’s hop in the shower. Okay. My door is clipped here and unclip it to take a shower. because I have to keep it clipped for when the RV’s moving to not break the glass. so you can see this is hooked right here so that the door won’t move, but we want the door to move. so we have our shower and what else are we going do? We are going to take a Shower. I’ve never really taken a shower in my phone before. If I’m gonna shower with my razor beforehand, I’ll actually just shaved dry with this one with no water and then if I’m going to use this razor, what I do is I put water in the cup. and then I just kind of leave that here and I’ll have to like turn on the shower like I told you. So that’s why you keep using the shower on and off. So I’ll like shower my leg. Then I have to put the shower back up or like I’ll just leave it down here. then I have to get my soap and I like no joke soap up my leg like this. Soap this bad boy up. And then I get this water and I shave my legs like that. And I do my whole body like that? But when you’re not holding the phone it’s kind of like a lot easier to do. And then I’ll just rinse it off in between shaving. then I’ll just shave some more. Then whenever I’m done, I’ll turn my water back on and rinse my leg like that. That’s what I do. So then I do the same thing for my hair. So I’m going to wet my hair and then I’ll shampoo it up, rinse and same thing with the conditioner and whatnot. [Water Running] Okay. So after I’m done with my hair, I do the Same thing with the soap, so I’ll literally turn the shower on, rinse off, put soap on and then rinse that off again. That’s pretty much how I take a shower in my RV. So I’m going to get soaped up, I’m going to wash that off and then I’ll meet you back out here once I’m done! now I’m done with my shower. But you can see it’s not that glamorous and the other thing is the shower is kind of small. So it’s not HUGE in here! but I have to turn on and turn off the water and soap up and wash off. So you like literally like get wet, Do whatever you’re going to do, shave soap and then rinse back off. So it’s kind of a little frustrating. But then if it gets hot in here so you can see it’s kind of steamy. I have this fan up here and I have  a this remote I just turn on so it should help get rid of some of this steam. You can see it’s kind of loud. That’s what I use. It helps with like the humidity, things like that. Anyways, that’s pretty much how I take a shower in my rv, my Winnebago, so this is like I said, this is a winnebago era one 170M this is a 2018, but I had a 2016 era 170C so it’s the same but it’s a full shower and bath in here. I have like a full bathroom. I told you I have a toilet, that everything’s laying on right now. This is pretty much it, so it’s just like a house bathroom, I guess? you just have to be more conservative with like your water and what you use depending on if you’re boondocking you’re hooking up like a mentioned I put links in the description below.
