Trading out the RV for an Airbnb & Hotel Hopping!

In this episode of RV Life, we did a lot of traveling aka Van Life, but not the way you might imagine! After picking up our new Puma Palomino 32BHQ Travel Trailer and setting it up as a Stationary RV at the RV Park, we were forced to hit the road! We took a little beach vacation to Jekyll Island and Saint Simons Island (SSI) in Georgia.

Hotel Hopping from the Westin to the Courtyard / Residence Inn (part of the Marriott Hotel Brands) which was a huge reminder of why we love RV Living! Especially when you have Dogs and Cats to bring along. So we eventually opted for an Airbnb to stay a little longer for some R&R and enjoy the beach! All this while BTS I was in the process of selling my Thor Outlaw Motorhome!

00:00:00 [Music] oh my gosh I’m so excited to be sharing this with you and it is like a hot mess I don’t know if you noticed but my hair is missing there we go Brandy going take a little bit for photo once the first one’s done some going back it is so hot but I know that a lot of you asked me about Mobile Life and RV life and so one of the things that I’ve been I don’t want to say adventuring out on but if you know I’ve been in the process of selling my motor home and deciding on like the next adventure so

00:01:05 if you don’t know this yet we purchased a travel trailer and we’ve been kind of vacationing and figuring out things so we’ve gone from hotel to hotel and we did a little bit of the van life with the van that we have and it’s just been a little chaotic as far as like checking in and out of the hotels and so we’ve been the hotels for like a week but it just wasn’t a pleasurable experience and sadly enough we were on one of my favorite Islands was this Jackal Island and it just wasn’t really a good experience we went

00:01:40 to the Weston we went to the courtyard and the marot uh it’s the Marriott but Courtyard and residence in a courtyard in Residence in was actually better than the Weston and if you know hotels you’d know that’s crazy so anyways navine got us we have like the cutest little house ever that he rented for for us we literally have like a three or four story house right now and I don’t even know if you can see outside how cute it is out here we have all of these blog and Brandy colored chairs in here and this is the main floor um there’s a

00:02:18 basement downstairs which is like the garage and stuff but there’s a room here on this main floor we have a bathroom here but we have a little porch and we have a little yard so the dogs can go to the bathroom got this on Airbnb and literally this is the same price as what we would have paid for a hotel but we have this cute little porch out front we have this whole little area in here and then not only do we have the downstairs which is the basement but we have another upstairs we have um this is an

00:02:51 extra bedroom so there’s two beds in here and a bath in here and then we have the main bedroom over here so we have the master strangely enough the master has a place to work but um there’s another balcony over here that looks out to the front and we have a garage and a washer and dryer and a full kitchen and I am just so excited about this part of our trip so the motor home was in the process of selling we just bought this travel trailer we’ve been getting it set up at the RV spot we had to come on this vacation because we

00:03:39 had six days of vacation that we had to use or we were going to lose it and it had to do with like our credit card rewards points but we found this Airbnb and I’m so happy about it I mean it’s literally the same price we’d be paying for a hotel I mean not more but um I’m just so excited that we found this and it feels like so home me and the animals are free to RAM and we don’t have to worry about anything I just kind of wanted to Vlog and let you know like what we were doing what’s been going on and I don’t know I guess we’ll see

00:04:12 what the next step is so we’re actually on St Simon’s Island right now we were on Jackal Island but we’re still in Georgia so I’m from Georgia technically Alabama but we’re still in the same vicinity be here for four or 5 days and then to the next adventure so a lot going on but exciting okay so I know you wonder like what we do when we’re not in the RB and I don’t even know if you can hear me right now but in case you’re wonder what we do when we’re not in the Army we rent houses and pretend like we’re at home
