Motorhome vs Travel Trailer Making The Switch!

RV Buying & Selling? We are! Today is the BIG day to pick up the new RV travel trailer (2021 Puma Palomino 32BHQS) from storage and switch it out for the Motorhome (2018 Thor Outlaw 37RB) until we get it sold. ICYMI we decided to sell the Motorhome that has primarily been used for more stationary RV living full time vs traveling on the road. So we are moving the motorhome to storage and setting up the travel trailer to be stationary at the RV Park (where the motorhome has been for several years now!). 00:00:00 oh my gosh today is hopefully our last day in this motor home um hoping that it’s sold are you excited Birdie we’re going to go get the trailer we have been trying to get this motor home sold it’s not officially sold yet but we do have potential buyers there’s a few things that I need to fix on it that I kind of figured out I want to see once we unplug what happens we can you let me record but we’ve really just kind of cleaned everything out and getting ready to take this right now we’re going to put it in

00:01:07 stuff in the garage outside so that we can transfer into the trailer and then the other stuff is at my mom’s house you should have saw from that downsizing video I’m really in your face huh where we kept some stuff and we’ve got stuff in the van so everything is really crazy right now thankfully it’s like a Friday and if everything goes smooth then we’ll be in the trailer here in a couple hours we just have to switch it out from our RV spot but I was just think about I was like you know normally

00:01:33 when you’re rving you pull in and out your RV all the time it’s just different because we’ve been here for 2 years a little over actually a little over two years and some months um so it’s kind of weird to be moving the motor home and like one of the tires was flat and I have an issue with like the battery disconnect switch there were some other things that I’ve been testing and checking and so I just can’t wait to pull this out of here I’m hoping we don’t have any issues I had a dead battery in the front I’ve got some

00:02:02 other batteries that I might need to change out so you know those are like little expenses that I’m not super excited about but I’m just praying that everything works out and that God has everything lined up the way that we need it and then we have a vacation coming up and then my mom has surgery this Monday so I’m trying to get all this done before she has she’s having like a knee surgery and so she’s not going to be able to help or do anything and so normally birdie is super excited over here

00:03:50 give you a sneak peek okay a sneak peek it’s like right there okay that’s the new RV and we’re waiting to drop this motor home off in the same spot and waiting on someone to come help tow our trailer because we don’t have a car to tow it or a truck that’s would tow it so when you say can I get into RV life and not have some way to tow my trailer around yes especially if you’re going to be living stationary or you’re going to be living in one place for one for a certain amount of time so we’re actually keeping

00:04:27 the spot that we’ve rented for almost 3 years now and we’re going to move we’re moving the motor home out that’s been there for like 2 years and we’re putting the travel trailer in the spot so yeah I’m so excited we’re just waiting on a tow truck and NB had to go drop some packages off so we’re working it’s Friday we’re working in between all of this so it’s kind of crazy nobody knows what we’re doing in between all this but I’m excited I can’t wait till probably a couple hours from now to be back and
